Case Study: Temporary Training Facility Reconfiguration

Sports Ground, Oxfordshire – March 2024 to March 2025

Inline was appointed to deliver a modular interior fit-out for a temporary training facility at a professional sports ground in Oxfordshire, following flood damage to the site’s main gymnasium.

Working within a temporary structure, Inline provided full hard walling services to create the key operational zones required by the team. These included changing areas, showers, toilets, a medical and exercise suite, kit stores, offices and recovery spaces — all built to a high specification with fire doors, skirting, architrave and full decoration throughout.

In March 2025, Inline returned to reconfigure the facility as its purpose evolved following the reopening of the main gym. The space was adapted to meet the needs of the academy and development teams, with existing walls dismantled, repurposed and supplemented with new partitions to create a fresh layout.

Muddy changing areas and recovery rooms were transformed into acoustically treated meeting spaces and clean, functional zones for workshops and training. Inline also managed the careful protection and storage of exercise equipment during works, redecorated the entire facility, and installed insulated ceiling tiles, upgraded door units, bespoke storage and window blinds to deliver a clean, modern finish.

This project reflects Inline’s ability to adapt and enhance temporary spaces, delivering high quality, flexible environments for elite sport and education.
